Testimonials

Voices of Change

Our role in shaping the future is crucial—especially when it comes to environmental conservation. Protecting wildlife and forests is essential for maintaining biodiversity, sustaining ecosystems, and combating climate change. By actively participating in conservation efforts—such as reducing waste, planting trees, and promoting sustainable practices—we can create a meaningful impact. Moreover, educating ourselves and others about the importance of preserving natural habitats can inspire more people to join the cause. Every small action counts, and together, we can build a brighter, greener future for India and the world.”

- Amogh Ajay (NES International School Mumbai)

As India’s Young Forest Ambassador, my message to fellow participants and future ambassadors is simple: forests are our greatest teachers. They show us the power of resilience, balance, and interconnectedness. Let’s protect and nurture them with the same love and care they offer us. Every step we take today can grow into a greener, brighter future for generations to come. Together, we can be the voice for the forests—and the change our planet truly needs."  🌱🌍

- Shreyash Mahajan (DPS Mohali, Punjab)

It's time for us to take action to help forests and other ecosystems across the world recover from the catastrophic effects of climate change and global warming. Let’s be the voices for these silent protectors. Let’s work together to restore, conserve, and safeguard our forests for generations to come. Every small step counts, whether it’s planting a tree, reducing waste, or educating others. Together, we can make a lasting impact!

- Aanyaa Garatikar (NES International School Mumbai - IB Continuum World School)

My biggest takeaway from the India’s Young Forest Ambassador Program was realizing how powerful even the smallest actions can be in protecting our environment. The program opened my eyes to the deep interconnectedness of nature—how saving a single tree can help preserve an entire ecosystem. It also reminded me that we don’t need to wait for someone else to take action. Each of us, no matter our age, has the power to make a difference. This experience has left me feeling more hopeful and inspired to continue doing my part for the planet.”

- Harshine BM (Advaith International Academy, Hosur)

Hey friends, nature needs us!🌱 Every small step we take helps protect our forests and the animals that call them home. Through the India’s Young Forest Ambassador Program, I realized just how much my daily actions impact the planet—like frequent travel, eating meat, and using plastic. This program opened my eyes and inspired me to make conscious changes. From now on, I’m committed to reducing my environmental footprint and encouraging my friends and family to do the same. Together, we can be the change our Earth needs for a greener, healthier future."

- Advaitha Cantam (Delhi Public School, Nadergul)

Being India's Young Forest Ambassador through India MUN: Youth for Climate Action has been an incredibly transformative journey. This program connected me with like-minded individuals passionate about restoring our planet. Through hands-on conservation efforts, educational workshops, and leadership initiatives, I developed a deep understanding of environmental stewardship.

One of my proudest contributions was raising funds for Mission Prakriti, an initiative by Gaia The Earth Foundation aimed at restoring one million hectares of forests. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of youth-led action to drive real ecological and social change.

As a token of appreciation for my efforts, I received a plantable pen, a special diary commemorating my role as India's Young Forest Ambassador, a T-shirt labeled Youth for Climate Action, and a certificate of completion. These symbols remind me of the impact we can create when we work together for a greener future.

India MUN’s commitment to climate-conscious education and ecosystem restoration has inspired me to continue advocating for sustainable solutions. I am grateful for this opportunity and encourage more young changemakers to join this incredible movement.”
